Predicting the Gender

Karl and I decided that before we find out the gender of our little baby we would try out a few wives tales on predicting the gender. 

-If you are carrying your baby high, it's a girl. Carrying low, it's a boy.
         -Boy

-If your hair is shiny and skin is glowing, it's a boy. If you have blemishes and your hair is falling out, it's a girl and she is stealing your beauty.
        -Girl: My hair is falling out like crazy! That’s why I decided to chop it off :)

-Take your wedding ring off and tie it to a piece of string and hang it over your belly. Circle means boy, back and forth means girl.
        -Boy

-Baby's heart rate, 140beats per minute or less means boy, anything above 140 means girl.
        -Girl

-Craving sweets it's a girl, craving salty foods it's a boy.
       -Girl: I ordered a huge bag of Tootsie Frooties off amazon a week and half ago..... I'm almost out.

-Chinese birth chart.
        -Girl

-If your spouse is gaining sympathy weight, it's a girl.
        -Boy: Karl is actually trying to gain some weight and so far hasn't been able to.

-Morning sickness, meaning girl.
         -Girl: I'm someone who doesn't vomit very often even when I had the stomach flu last winter, but I have felt so nausea and sick in the morning. Mostly just in the first semester, so far in the second semester it hasn't been bad at all :)

-Last thing when I was at the chiropractor he asked if I wanted to find out the gender. He did some muscle testing and thinks it's a girl.
 
So in total Boy: 3  Girl: 5
     I'm so excited to find out later today! I had so much fun reading all these funny gender prediction myths but at the same time it made me more stoked to find out.
