A Grand Adventure

    Hello! I wanted to share some photos from this amazing hike. We set out to hike to the top of the Grand Teton. We hiked up to the Moraine and camped for a night so we could summit the next day. I woke up with really bad altitude sickness on the day we were going to summit but decided to just go for it anyway. I hiked a little past the saddle and was still very sick. The next section included rock climbing and for safety reasons I decided I needed to not continue and wait out the altitude sickness. Sadly I didn't stop feeling sick until I was back down to the car. I have never experienced altitude sickness before and now have way more understanding for it. It's honestly like morning sickness plus feeling very dizzy and who likes that.
     All in all it was an amazing experience and I was pleasantly surprised at how in shape I am. This was my first real hike after having Kyson so I was a little nervous. This was also the longest I have been away from him, it was only 3 days and 2 nights but it felt a lot longer. I may or may not have cried at least once.
